2024 Dog Licenses

Highland County dog licenses for 2024 may now be purchased at the County Auditor’s Office, County Administration Building, 119 Governor Foraker Place, Hillsboro, for $14.00 per license. Normal office hours are weekdays from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Licenses must be purchased by January 31, 2024, or the cost will double. Three-year licenses may be purchased for $42.00. A permanent license is $140.00.

For an additional $0.75 per application, licenses may also be purchased at:

Steven’s Hardware, 1398 Jefferson St. Greenfield

Highland County License Bureau, 1575 N. High St. Suite 500 Hillsboro

The $0.75 per application fee is for a 1 year, 3 year, and permanent license.

Licenses may also be purchased online at www.doglicenses.us for an additional $2.15 per license for one-year licenses. The on-line fee for a three-year license is $3.40 and a permanent license is $5.60. The license will then be mailed to the purchaser.

Kennel licenses are available at the Auditor’s Office for $70.00. To purchase a kennel license, the applicant must have an active Vendor’s license.
